How to get there: The North, Bangkok to Mae Hongson
From Bangkok, take Highway number 32 through Ayutthaya, Singh Buri, Chainat and Uthai Thani, then make your way onto Highway number 1 towards Nakorn Sawan.

From Nakorn Sawan, make your way onto Highway no.1 through Kamphaeng Petch, Tak, Thoen towards Lamang, then take a left turn onto Highway number 108 through Amphoe Hang-Dong, Jomthong, Hod to reach Mae Hongson by Amphoe Mae-Sariang and Mae La Noi while Khunyuam is a little further, with a total distance of about 924 kilometers.

From the city of Mae Hongson, go along Highway number 108. At kilometer 201, make your way onto Highway number 1263 for about 12 kilometers before turning onto Baan Na Ngew to Baan Hua Ha route and further for another 14 kilometers to reach Doi Mae U-Kor.

From Chiang Mai’s Amphoe Mae Jam, go along Highway number 1263 (Mae Jam to Khunyuam) onto the junction into Baan Na Ngew to Baan Hua Ha for about 76 kilometers before taking a turn for another 14 kilometers to reach Doi Mae U-Kor also.

Namtok Mae Surin, about 12 kilometers away from Tung Dok Buatong, is one of Thailand’s highest waterfalls with the height of 220 meters. Its only one floor makes the falling water look grand and very beautiful-with its peak beauty between November – December.
