Haad Jomtien |
Location: Approximately 3 kilometers southward of Pattaya Town.
Haad Jomtien is a beach connected to Haad Dong Tan, just you walk a bit further you will find Haad Jomtien shortly. This beach is approximately 6 kilometers long; it is quite a favorite beach that, together with Pattaya, has won the heart of visitors for long time since the early period of tourism.
Haad Jomtien is shallow and good for swimming as well as other sea activities. However, some parts of the beach are steep and dangerous with deep water, so tourists should be careful.
Apart from the delightful beach, Haad Jomtien also has plenty of facilities and various rates of accommodations. At night, the sun beds and umbrellas are all put away, leaving the beach clean and light with street lamps.
A lot of restaurants and food stands, mostly grilled seafood, would line along the seaside road. So if you have a change to visit the beach at night, do not miss trying some fresh, delicious, and inexpensive seafood here. |
