Location: The west of Mu Koh Tarutao, Ban Koh Li Pe, Tambon Koh Sarai, Amphoe Mueang.

Satun is a small provice in the farthest south of Thailand. Facing the Andaman Sea, the province possesses altogether 105 islands with verdant forests and mountainous land. Satun has 2 Marine National Parks, Mu Koh Tarutao National Park and Mu Koh Phetra National Park. The major port, the center of transportation in Satun, is Pak Bara Pier. Koh Li Pe is an island in Mu Koh Adang-Rawi under the administration of Mu Koh Tarutao National Park. The name Koh Li Pe, in sea dwellers language, means paper. This is because the island is completely flat, so flat that it is pretty easy to walk from one beach to another around the island. The place has been founded and occupied by an old sea tribe called ‘Urak-Lawoi’ since the reign of King Rama V. Nowadays, the tribesmen still live on the island and make a living by fishing.

Despite its limited visitors due to the distance, Koh Li Pe is now fully open for tourists. There are some resorts, bars, restaurants, and rental shops scattered around the old fishermen community. Ao Pramong is located in the north of the island, futher from Haad Pattaya 2. The beach is clean, white and definitely nice for a swim.

Koh Kra is a small island with delightful nature, is located incredibly close to Koh Li Pe and set opposite to Haad Chao Le in the front of Koh Li Pe.
