The former is the main port, so it is not very suitable for a swim; whereas the latter is a nice diving spot around 10 to 30 feet deep.

Koh Hong has two major beaches in the front and the back of the island. The former is the main port, so it is not very good for swimming; whereas the latter is a nice for sunbathing, diving and canoeing.

The front beach in south of island is a place where visitors often come to lie down on the beach and canoe all along to the hall in the north. The amazing sandy beach surrounded by towering hills of Koh Hong is indeed one of the highlights of Krabi attractions.
